Just had my first meeting with Rob Mitchell to explain the whole process of what I was aiming to achieve for my documentary, and how i would approach it.
I asked briefly about his history with photography just so I could get a feel for the narrative of how my documentary would progress, Rob brought up the possibility of filming him on a location or job or even judging a competition.
I had not thought of this prior to my documentary but it seems incredible and would be a missed opportunity if I didnt do it, Rob was very open with me and this allowed me to get a sense of character and to establish a connection prior to sticking him in front of the camera lens.
With this meeting complete I can further my narrative, refine my questions for the interview part of my documentary and also draw up plans for shooting rob on location.
